Independent SEND Safeguarding & Wellbeing Audits

Guided Futures Advocacy provides independent safeguarding and wellbeing monitoring through structured visits designed to observe and report on the safety, wellbeing, and support arrangements surrounding vulnerable children and adults.

These visits provide professional observations that support local authorities and organisations in identifying emerging concerns and maintaining safeguarding oversight.

Our monitoring visits are not intended to replace statutory safeguarding responsibilities. Instead, they provide independent observations that complement existing safeguarding processes.

Each Monitoring Visit Includes

Wellbeing Observation

Observation of the indiviudal’s emotional and physical wellbeing, engagement with their environment, and interactions with those supporting them.

Safeguarding Indicator Review

Assessment of potential safeguarding indicators including neglect, unsafe environments, or behavioural concerns.

Environmental Safety Assessment

Observation of the individual’s environment to identify potential risks or safeguarding concerns.

Child Voice Engagement

Where appropriate, practitioners seek to engage with the individual to understand their experiences, feelings, and perspective.

Professional Written Report

A structured professional report outlining observations, risk rating, and recommendations where appropriate.

All reports are prepared objectively and in line with safeguarding best practice.
