Advocacy for SEND Children & Vulnerable Adults

Families supporting children and adults with SEND often find themselves navigating complex systems, including education services, health and care provision, safeguarding procedures, and wider support networks.

When concerns arise, professional advocacy can help ensure that an individual’s needs are properly represented and that their voice is heard.

Guided Futures Advocacy provides advocacy support designed to help families address concerns relating to wellbeing, safeguarding, education, health, or care provision.

Our role is to support families in understanding their options, navigating complex professional systems, and ensuring that the individual’s best interests remain central to decision-making.

Advocacy support may include:

• professional case review
• guidance regarding safeguarding concerns
• support preparing for meetings with professionals
• attendance at meetings where appropriate
• advocacy representation to help ensure the individual’s needs and interests are clearly communicated

Our advocacy services are designed to complement the work of professionals while ensuring that families feel supported, informed, and confident when navigating complex systems.
