Our Safeguarding Commitment
Safeguarding is central to the work of Guided Futures Advocacy.
Safeguarding is central to the work of Guided Futures Advocacy.
Our organisation operates under clear safeguarding policies and procedures designed to ensure that concerns relating to the wellbeing of children and adults with SEND are appropriately identified, recorded, and escalated where necessary.
All practitioners operate within a safeguarding framework aligned with national safeguarding guidance, including:
• Working Together to Safeguard Children
• Children Act 1989 & 2004
• SEND Code of Practice
• Care Act 2014 (Safeguarding Adults)
Our work is guided by the principle that the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals must always come first.
Independence and Conflict of Interest
Guided Futures Advocacy operates with strict professional independence.
Where our organisation provides safeguarding oversight services to local authorities or other organisations, we maintain clear conflict-of-interest safeguards to ensure that professional judgement remains objective.
If advocacy support is required in relation to a case where safeguarding oversight services are already being provided, the case will be reassigned to a separate practitioner or referred to an independent advocacy partner where appropriate.
This ensures that safeguarding observations remain impartial and that the best interests of the individual are always prioritised.
Our commitment is to operate with transparency, professional integrity, and a clear focus on protecting vulnerable children and adults.
