How Our Service Works
Guided Futures Advocacy aims to make safeguarding oversight and advocacy support accessible and straightforward for families.
Step 1 – Initial Consultation
Families begin with an initial consultation where we discuss the individual’s needs, the family’s concerns, and the type of safeguarding oversight or advocacy support that may be helpful.
Step 2 – Safeguarding Plan Created
Where safeguarding membership is appropriate, a monitoring plan is created outlining the structure of wellbeing visits and oversight.
Step 3 – Monitoring Visits Scheduled
Professional practitioners conduct structured wellbeing monitoring visits designed to observe the individual’s environment, wellbeing indicators, and safeguarding factors.
Following each visit, a professional report is prepared summarising observations and recommendations where appropriate.
Step 4 – Advocacy Support Available
If concerns arise regarding safeguarding, wellbeing, or support arrangements, advocacy services may be available to help families address these concerns with relevant professionals.
The aim of this process is to ensure that families feel supported and that children and vulnerable adults remain protected and properly represented.
